Director of Leadership Development

The Department of Leadership Development & Accountability partners with school and district leaders to strengthen instructional leadership, build leadership capacity, and improve outcomes for every student across the Alisal Union School District.

Our work is grounded in the belief that exceptional schools are built through exceptional leadership. By coaching principals, developing instructional leaders, supporting Educational Services teams, and strengthening leadership systems, we cultivate the conditions where teachers thrive and students succeed.

The department provides leadership in the supervision, coaching, and development of principals, assistant principals, and English Learner TOSAs. Through professional learning, collaborative coaching, continuous improvement, and data-informed decision making, we work alongside leaders to strengthen instructional practices, ensure equitable access to high-quality learning experiences, and improve student achievement.

In partnership with schools and district departments, we oversee leadership development, assessment and accountability systems, continuous improvement planning, and instructional support services that align with the District's vision, strategic priorities, and commitment to educational excellence.
