We need your input to update the Local Control Accountability Plan

The Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP, is an important document that informs us what we are doing well to serve our students. The document focuses on academic and socioemotional needs, and what we could do to improve. There are many ways to participate. You can fill out the survey for your own school, included below. Or you can come to any of our upcoming meetings where the LCAP will be discussed.
A conversation about the LCAP will take place Tuesday, March 17, from 6-7:30 pm during the monthly meeting of the District Advisory Council (DAC) and the District English Learner Advisory Council (DELAC). The meeting will be held at the Sanchez Ed Center, 901 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas. There will be childcare and refreshments.
The second meeting will take place Wednesday, March 18, from 6 to 8 pm during a workshop for Special Education families. There will also be a presentation about occupational therapy.

Familias de Alisal:
El Plan de Responsabilidad y Control Local, o LCAP, es un documento importante que nos indica qué estamos haciendo bien para servir a nuestros estudiantes. El documento se centra en las necesidades académicas y socioemocionales de los estudiantes, así como en aquello que podríamos hacer para mejorar. Existen muchas formas de participar. Pueden completar la encuesta correspondiente a su propia escuela, la cual se incluye arriba. O bien, pueden asistir a cualquiera de nuestras próximas reuniones en las que se abordará el tema del LCAP.
Se llevará a cabo una conversación sobre el LCAP el martes 17 de marzo, de 6:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m., durante la reunión mensual del Consejo Asesor del Distrito (DAC) y del Consejo Asesor del Distrito para Estudiantes de Inglés (DELAC). La reunión se celebrará en el Centro Educativo Sanchez, ubicado en 901 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas. Se ofrecerán servicios de cuidado de niños y bocadillos.
La segunda reunión tendrá lugar el miércoles 18 de marzo, de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., durante un taller dirigido a las familias de Educación Especial. También habrá una presentación sobre terapia ocupacional.
