Creekside's annual book fair concluded last week and its members declared victory, given the amount of sales they recorded.
As of Friday, Creekside PTO President Rachel Anderson said they had sold more than $5,000 in books. Once they'd hit their goal of $2,500, the group would receive 25 percent of sales receipts. Fundraisers have the option to receive "Scholastic dollars" or cash, but the PTO decided to divide Scholastic dollars among all the teacher "as a special token for their support," Anderson said.
