October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and all schools of the Alisal Union School District held special events to promote kindness and acceptance of each other's differences. Some highlights:
Creekside teachers displayed their creativity with door decorations, mixing Halloween with kindness. A great convo!
At Chavez, counselors began the week by creating a "chain of kindness"
At Loya, students created "no bully" signs and a giant peace sign that was captured by drone, courtesy of Media and Knowledge Group (MKG) Photo and Video Productions.
On Monday, MLK students pledged to be upstanders and say no to drugs with handprints on a wall poster in the cafeteria.
Thank you, students, for standing up against bullying! Thank you, teachers, counselors and support staff for setting an example of kindness for all our students!
