Frank Paul Elementary School 1300 Rider Avenue Salinas Tel: (831) 753-5740 Fax: (831) 753-5268 Ricardo Cabrera, Principal Thank you for visiting our web page. Frank Paul School is about student success. We believe that a partnership between the school, home, and community will ensure that all students are successful. We provide our students with engaging instruction and enriching learning opportunities to help them develop their mind, body, and spirit. Our staff is a professional, dedicated, and hard-working group. They establish learning goals for all students, collect multiple sources of information to assess student learning, and use assessment results to guide instruction. Our staff consistently collaborates to improve professional practice. Students have the opportunity to participate in enriching regular day and after-school programs such as: art; drama; needle work (knitting); GATE; nutrition club (in coordination with 5-A Day); garden club (in coordination with California State University-Monterey Bay); and sports. In addition, over 50% of our teachers provide after-school academic assistance to their students. We are always looking for ways to involve our parents in school matters. Our parents can be part of School Site Council, Parents In Action, Koffee Klatch, Parent Volunteers, Dual Immersion Parent Committee, and monthly parent meetings. Our staff communicates student progress through phone call, parent meetings, written progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences. At Frank Paul, students come first. |
