Welcome to César E. Chávez Elementary School. César E. Chávez School was named for the labor leader César E. Chávez who believed that “We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community. Our ambitious must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.” With this in mind, we strive to prepare our students to become active members of our community who are socially responsible.

At Chavez, we strive to provide academic excellence for our children in a multicultural environment that promotes bilingualism and respects diversity. Our dedicated and caring staff works together with our parents to provide a safe, nurturing environment for student learning where every child can learn.
